About the Coffee

Both coffees come from families with rich coffee history. In El Salvador Mauricio Salvera and his family have been in the coffee business for many generations. He also provides us with some of our favorite small lot offerings. The Recinos family has been growing coffee in Jutiapa, Guatemala since 1870 and believe that keeping their coffees well nourished keeps them resistant to disease, while other farmers suffer from seasons riddled with plant disease.
